LG C2 OLED has several large shoes to be filled. The predecessors, C1 OLED added many Tech reviewers from the best TV that you can buy in 2021, including ours. However, we are happy to report that the latest OLED LG does not disappoint, with a useful company, a gradual change in a popular set rather than going for total repair.
With a super-thin razor and bezel design, OLED C2 offers many screens – and the screen displays the best OLED technology, provides a very good contrast level, strong brightness, and bright colors. After testing it with everything starting from regular elementary shows to IMAX enhanced blockbusters, C2 OLED has proven itself more than being able to handle enough content that you can throw, and one of the best TVs you can buy today.
Repair for 2022 including the new Alpha A9 Gen 5 processor, which is designed to offer better objects and dynamic tone mapping rather than its predecessor. And that, you get a ‘virtual surround sound’, with stereo content raising the TV to 7.1.2-channel. While we are not sure about virtual surround voice claims, audio performance is good for flat screen TV, and a number of different sound modes means you have to be able to find an audio profile that suits your needs.
The enhanced Smart Smart Smart TV TV platform 22 LG C2 OLED provides all the streaming services you expect, everything is dried into a home screen that is easily navigated. This home screen can now be personalized for each member of your household, making it easier to find new shows and movies to watch.
While all the upgrades are very welcomed, we are not sure we would recommend buying OLED C2 if you already have OLED C1 at home – this improvement increases, although it is not significant, and may not guarantee buying new sets completely.
However, if you are on the market for new OLED TV, LG C2 is an excellent example of technology, offering a significant level of brightness than the top OLED TV model the previous year.
LG C2 OLED is part of the LG 2022 TV lineup with most models in the range which has been released on March 2022 and several sizes that come a little later. To start, we have a 48-, 55-, 65- 77-inch model released in March, with an 83-inch model that comes later in April, and finally the 42-inch screen size is awaited in May. Some of these sizes are available in the UK.
